In the good ol' days, my sisters and I rode our bikes around the block thousands of times on a bicycle such at this. In the basket I would have carried my essential things, as I flew, card in tire...thud, thud, thudding, around our house-lot where my entire world revolved...Now, retired, it nestles the flowers I love - thus echoing my slower years.
